Psychosocial Work: an Emancipatory Tool in Latin America

In the face of the democratic and anti-human rights regression that is being experienced in Latin America, psychosocial work contributes substantially to the processes of social transformation, as well as to counteract the powers of oppression, authoritarian forms and different types of violence.

The video was recorded in September 2022, in Antigua, Guatemala, during the meeting “Psychosocial work in the face of the reconfiguration of factual actors in the region: dilemmas and challenges”, which is part of a Latin American process of articulation of people and organizations that carry out psychosocial work in contexts of sociopolitical violence.
